UCLA Alumni Day
Annually in May
UCLA Campus

Each spring UCLA alumni have a momentous day at their alma mater when the campus celebrates UCLA Alumni Day. It’s a time to reconnect – with the campus, with friends, with the Bruin spirit. The day is filled experiences for one and all. Seminars conducted by distinguished professors give a selection of seminars ranging from the science of climate change to Shakespeare and showcase the cutting-edge research under way on campus. Alumni can also choose among tours of Powell Library, the Fowler Museum, bus and walking tours of campus, and “Where Wooden Walked,” celebrating the legacy of basketball Coach John Wooden.

Evening hours are filled with fun and festivities. Events include a Bruin barbecue on the campus green, where alumni hear from Chancellor Block. There are parties and receptions all across campus, each one geared to a specific affinity group. Alumni can party-hop among gatherings of the Alumni Scholars Club, Greek life organizations and Spirit Squad, to name just a few.
