Terasaki Life Sciences Building Dedication
June 13, 2010
Terasaki Life Sciences Building, UCLA

The Terasaki Life Sciences Building is the new home to UCLA scientists and students who will transform discovery for the 21st century. Designed to enhance interactions among scientists with new technologies, new computational approaches and new integrative ways of thinking, the Terasaki Building will enable life scientists to develop discoveries that affect human health, food and energy production, and biological conservation. Featuring remarks by Chancellor Gene Block and Dean Victoria Sork, as well as Dr. Paul Terasaki, the dedication ceremony was followed by a ribbon-cutting and reception honoring the Terasaki family.
