Pauley Pavilion Groundbreaking Celebration

UCLA's Pauley Pavilion has been the home of numerous UCLA sports since 1965. Now, the building is being renovated for future generations. The program began musical performances by a student a cappella group and the UCLA Marching Band and Spirit Squad, and featured remarks by Chancellor Gene Block, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Janina Montero, Director of Athletics Dan Guerrero, student athlete Anna Li, and Matt Pauley. The official groundbreaking, with UCLA shovels and hardhats, was held in the dirt outside of Pauley Pavilion at the conclusion of the program.
