Celebrate UCLA
Saturday, April 22, 2006

Continuing the celebration of the $3 billion milestone of Campaign UCLA, donors to the campaign participated in a series of campus wide presentations, tours and performances that enabled them to experience the best of UCLA. With presentations ranging from healthcare to the environment to Baroque dance and costume, the multi-disciplinary experiences showcased the positive effect of their support on UCLA's mission of teaching, research and public service. That evening, guests gathered on Wilson Plaza for a multi-sensory evening of music, dance and festive food from around the world with a Carnaval theme, in honor of the exhibit Carnaval taking place at the Fowler Museum nearby. A stilt walker, costumed theater students, and salsa dancers entertained guests.
