CORRESPONDENCE TO ELECTED OFFICIALS

Here are some general guidelines to following when corresponding to elected officials. Contact Kim Kovacs, Executive Director of Federal Relations, for additional information.

Members of Congress - U.S. Senate and House of Representatives

Whenever possible, correspondence should be sent to the District Office address.  Washington, DC correspondence should be sent by fax or, if possible, hand delivered. Depending on the number of pieces, hand delivery can be arranged through the University of California Office of Federal Governmental Relations. Packages are not accepted.

 

White House Correspondence

Correspondence must be sent via fax. Packages are not accepted.

 

Cabinet Secretaries

Correspondence may be sent via the USPS. However, time sensitive correspondence should be faxed or hand delivered.
