Q: I'd like to invite
a dignitary to participate in my event. What is the process?
A: Prior to inviting a dignitary to campus, see Dignitary
Visits to Campus: Protocol and Notification Procedures. Prior
to extending an invitation to a high-level dignitary, complete
the Visiting
Dignitary Form or contact Nancy Lumsden, Executive Assistant
to the Vice Chancellor of External Affairs at (310) 206-0601.
Q: A dignitary/VIP/elected
official will be attending my event, who should I contact?
A: Contact Marina Banach,
Office Manager, Special Events and Protocol.
Q: What is the proper way to address a dignitary?
A: Contact Patricia

Q: I would like to invite
the Chancellor to my event. What is the process?
A: Review these general guidelines to calendar the Chancellor, Chancellor's spouse or Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost. For External Affairs requests only, complete the External
